Transcript

โ€ปThe following is an unofficial fan translation

“I’m Shiho Hinomori, the bassist for Leo/need.”

“…and that’s a wrap. Now, I’ll just play a quick solo and we should be good…”

[plays bass]

“That was too short, you say?”

“But what else can I talk about…”

“How did I become interested in music?”

“I’ve always liked it. My mom is a koto instructor, and my dad plays guitar in a band.

“…Now what else? Ah, you want to know why I chose to play the bass instead of the guitar?”

“It’s because I like it. And there’s a certain band that I really respect.”

“The bassist for that band once said, ‘The bass has the power to control the mood of the entire music hall.'”

“That really hit home for me… and so I decided to play the bass, too.”

“…my hobbies?”

“I practice playing my bass whenever I have time. I guess I also enjoy going to concerts for bands that I like.”

“As for hobbies outside of music… I don’t really have any.”

“For the longest time, whenever I start to like something, I’d always get completely immersed in it, be it a picture book or a video game… and right now, it’s the bass.

“…huh? My big sister? Why do I have to talk about her?”

“She’s got nothing to do with the band.”

“Well, if I have talk about her… I’d say she sticks out like a sore thumb and keep showing her face at the freshman classrooms, so I told her to stop coming.”

“It’s not that I hate her or anything. But I just like to be left alone.”

“Look, I’m not doing this part of the MC portion during the real show. There’s no point in talking about stuff other than music.”

“Anyway, I take this band and all that we do seriously.”

“I spare no time or effort at all to be able to put on the best possible performance that I can presently do.”

“All the more so if it’s with the four of us…”

“….nah, it’s nothing.”

“Alright, is that enough MC practice for today?”

“It’d be a waste of time to not get in some band practice, too. So come on, let’s get to it.”

Official Artwork

“That session was just awful… however…”

Message from Yuki Nakashima

“I voice Shiho Hinomori-chan, a stoic girl who really loves music and tends to come across as being un-talkative and even a little scary. But in reality, she’s very sweet and cares about her friends a lot!”

“I’m looking forward to spending more time with Shiho-chan!”

“We hope you continue to support Shiho Hinomori-chan, Leo/need, and all of Project SEKAI!”

Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku Character Spotlight: Honami Mochizuki

The introduction videos for Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku characters continue to roll out! Today, it’s Honami Mochizuki from Leo/need who is up.

โ€ปThe following is an unofficial fan translation

[Lesson studio]

“Hello everyone. I’m Honami Mochizuki and I play the drums for Leo/need.”

“In middle school, I played percussion for the wind instrument club, and that’s how I became our drummer.”

“Um…. ah, and I enjoy star-gazing. At night, I often find myself looking up into the sky.”

“…I even once watched a meteor shower with my childhood friends…”

“I can still remember clearly how bright and beautiful all those shooting stars were.”

“Also…. a hobby of mine is walking my dog.”

“Fufu. My dog is an adorable shiba inu named Shibao.”

“It makes him really happy when I brush his coat, so I do that a lot, too.”

“As for my specialty, that would be housework. I’m pretty good at cooking and cleaning in general.”

“I especially love apple pie and bake it myself often.”

“I’m even a member of my high school home economics club, and recently took up knitting, too…”

“…eh? This sounds more like an marriage interview than an MC intro?”

“I-I guess it kind of does… I don’t know what I should be talking about.”

“Eh!? N-no, please don’t ask me about drawing…!”

“…so uh, about my part-time job, you ask?”

โ€œWell, itโ€™s kind of an unusual case. It may be on-topic for now, but…โ€

“It wouldn’t be very kind to Yoisaki-san to mention it, so I’d like to talk about something other than my job…”

“So instead… um, maybe something related to my band…”

“Well then, I’d like to share my feelings for my band members.”

“Um… you see, when we started our band, a lot of incidents happened between us…”

“But now, I’m so happy to be in this band with Saki-chan and the others. They mean the world me.”

“So to answer their feelings, I strive to support them all by drumming as best as I can.”

“This has been Honami Mochizuki of Leo/need. Thank you very much!”

“So, how was that?”

“Um, what’s the matter, everyone?”

“That last part… sounded like a love confession?”

“Eh? But I was just being honest with my feelings…”

“W-why is everyone blushing? Now you’re making me feel embarrassed too…”

Official Art

“T-This is so embarrassing… please don’t tell the others…”

Message from Reina Ueda

“Honami-chan is like a big sister figure to all, treating everyone kindly no matter who they are. While that kindness is one of her good points, it also invites misunderstanding from others…”

“She struggles to figure out how she should face herself and others around her while bearing all the burdens of being a teenager… and much like Honami-chan, I, too, wrestled with a lot of worries while serving as her voice actress.”

“It would mean the world to me if you would all watch over her.”

Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku Character Spotlight: Saki Tenma

Following up on yesterday’s reveal for Ichika’s introduction video, illustration, and message from her voice actress, today we learn more about another member of Leo/need, Saki Tenma!

Below is her self introduction video from the official SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project YouTube channel where she is voiced by Karin Isobe:

Transcript:

โ€ปThe following is an unofficial fan translation

“Hey everybody in the house!! Getting fired up?”

“Thank you for coming to watch us at Leo/need perform today!

“Now, let me introduce myself! I’m the keyboardist for Leo/need…”

“What? You say I’m getting overly excited and loud?”

“Ahaha, sorry about that. I’ve never been an MC for a concert before and I wasn’t sure what kind of mood I’m supposed to create.”

“Umm, alright. Let me try that again.”

“I’m Saki Tenma, and I play the keyboard for Leo/need.”

“I’m a freshman at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy and a member of the soft tennis club.”

“My hobbies are watching fashion and makeup videos!”

“I started watching them in middle school and continue to do so quite a bit nowโ™ช”

“I’m also really into fashion magazines…. ah, and my specialty is hair styling!”

“While trying out some hair styles that I see in magazines, I got good at it pretty quickly.

“Also, I really enjoy snacks and sweets.”

“Once I start eating them, I just can’t stop.”

“Ah, as for food I dislike, that would be congee.”

“I used to eat it all the time when I was in the hospital, but it’s got nooooo taste at all….”

“Eh? I’m talking too much about stuff that has nothing to do with music?”

“Aww, there’s still so much I wanted to say…”

“So then… ah, okay! Then I’ll talk about why I started playing the keyboard.”

“It’s because I learned to play the piano when I was little.”

“My mom is a piano instructor, so my big brother and I would learn to play the piano together.”

“When I was little, my body was really weak, and there were a lot of days when I had to stay at home. On those days, I would often play the piano.”

“Oh, but whenever I was feeling well, I’d play with Ich-chan, Hona-chan and Shiho-chan!”

“That makes us childhood friends, playing together ever since we were in grade school!”

“My favorite memory is when the four of us watched a meteor shower together!”

“I still remember clearly how beautiful it was. What fun times those were…”

“…oh, I went off topic again? Ahaha, sorry about that.”

“Throughout middle school, I had to stay in the hospital, and couldn’t experience school life with my friends…”

“But because of that, we now do lots of high school girl stuff together, and even play in a band!”

“Skill-wise, we’re still pretty inexperienced, but I hope everyone continues to support us!”

Official Illustration

“Let’s get bubble tea after school! I’ve always wanted to try it!”

Message from Karin Isobe:

“I listened to Miku songs all the time in my student days, so I’m thrilled to be involved in the project like this! Saki-chan is a really cute and lovable girl who always gives it her all and cares deeply about her friends.”

“Look forward to more from Saki-chan and Leo/need, and more of their activities jam-packed with the beautiful sentiments of childhood friendship! Thank you for your continued support for Project SEKAI!”

VOICEROID to be Utilized in Upcoming Nintendo Switch Game ‘Don Swagger’

AHS has announced a new collaboration with Hearts Technology to bring VOICEROID to their upcoming Nintendo Switch game, Don Swagger!

Don Swagger is described as a 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 competitive action game scheduled for release this summer. The object of the game is to drive a giant acorn to your opponent’s side of a tennis court-like field before it bursts open. The player who causes the most acorns to burst on their opponent’s side of the field wins!

One of the noteworthy points of Don Swagger is how it will utilize Genvid interactive streaming technology so that even non-players who are watching a match can participate. They can accomplish this by clicking on ‘Don Points (DP)’ that generate throughout the field on their monitors, and then spending them to cheer their preferred player on or even send them items to use! This will, in fact, be the first ever Nintendo Switch game to feature such a capability!

Stay tuned for details on how VOICEROID will also play a role in this very novel game!

[Lesson Studio]

โ€œIs everyone enjoying themselves?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m Ichika Hoshino, the guitarist and vocalist for Leo/need. Thank you for coming to watch our show.โ€

โ€œUmโ€ฆโ€

โ€œThatโ€™s my best shot at a greeting for the real thing, but what else should an MC talk aboutโ€ฆโ€

โ€œOh, my hobbies?โ€

โ€œHobbies, huhโ€ฆ I donโ€™t really have any in particularโ€ฆโ€

โ€œAh, I do listen to Miku songs a lot. I really like them.โ€

โ€œโ€ฆWhen do I listen to them?โ€

โ€œWhenever Iโ€™m freeโ€ฆ ah, and I also listen to them when Iโ€™m feeling down or lonely. When I do, they help me calm down a little.โ€

โ€œAlso, when I first got my guitar from my dad, I wondered if I could play Miku songs on it, so I started practicing them.โ€

โ€œAhโ€ฆ now that I think about it, it was at that moment when my dad told me how I got my name.โ€

โ€œMy parents both like the same song, and that was how they met.โ€

โ€œThen they fell in love and later had meโ€ฆโ€

โ€œThey met over a song, and were blessed with a child. So for that reason, they gave me the name Ichika.โ€

[Note: Ichikaโ€™s name (ไธ€ๆญŒ) literally means โ€œone songโ€]

โ€œMy dad told me how he hopes that I, too, can someday meet someone precious to me through a song.โ€

(I guess Saki, Honami, and Shiho are kind of like that to meโ€ฆ)

โ€œFufufuโ€ฆโ€

โ€œAh, itโ€™s nothing.โ€

โ€œNow, what else should I talk aboutโ€ฆ?โ€

โ€œโ€ฆWhat my future goals are? Hmm, let me thinkโ€ฆโ€

โ€œAfter starting high school, I wasnโ€™t able to find what it is that I want to do, and just sort of passed each day without a real purposeโ€ฆโ€

โ€œBut then I was able to start a band with Saki, and then Honami and Shiho joined us, too.โ€

โ€œA lot of stuff happened between us before thatโ€ฆโ€

โ€œBut now we spend our days together as four childhood friends. Itโ€™s a lot of fun, and makes me very happy.โ€

โ€œSo I want to do my very best for this band that the four us have created.โ€

โ€œโ€ฆSo, um, how was that?โ€

Official Illustration

A tweet from the official Project SEKAI Twitter account also shares her official artwork with us!

Quote: โ€œMiku sure is amazingโ€ฆ No matter what style she takes, she fits into it.โ€œ

Message from Ruriko Noguchi

Finally, another tweet conveys a message to us from Ichika’s voice actress, Ruriko Noguchi:

โ€œI am honored to be able to participate in such a wonderful project. I hope you all look forward to learning the stories behind each of these characters, from the internationally loved Hatsune Miku and her delightful friends to the original characters created in this project.โ€

โ€œThe character whom I voice, Ichika Hoshino, is a very kind-hearted girl who always thinks about her friends.โ€

โ€œI will do my very best to convey her feelings to everyone through my voice-acting and singing.โ€

โ€œPlease look forward to Project SEKAI!โ€

MIKUCOLLE EVENT: โ€œMIKU AND KAITO AND THE SMART- PUPPETSโ€ – Part 2

The next part of the โ€œMiku and Kaito and the Smart- puppetsโ€ event is in full swing, with even more new cards to collect! I’ve been grinding through levels to see what’s in store for us, so here I’ll explain exactly what you can do throughout the duration of it. I’ve also included the second half of the dialogue translations from between Miku and Kaito at the end of the article!

(For information about the first part of the event, you can read my previous article, and for the finale, here’s the third part).

Handsome steampunk Kaito, anyone? Art by ้‚ฃๆต

In terms of the event missions, the levels that you worked on in the first half of the event are still there, so you can continue to progress through them if necessary! When you look on the events section in the “mission list”, you’ll see that there are new achievements to complete! Objectives include:

-Completing the event levels without having to revive yourself

-Defeating a certain amount of normal bosses

-Finishing the EX boss level

-Finishing the EX Boss level with a deck with less than 10 cards

Completing these will give you clothing items, accessories or magical items, Mikucoins, “Angel Jyakushi” shards or red box gacha tickets (I’ll talk more about those later!)

Once you finish the last level (level 3-4), you’ll have access to the “EX boss” mission for 30 minutes. During these thirty minutes, you can try the most difficult level, which is the only level which continually gives you box gacha tickets. After 30 minutes, this mission banner will disappear, and you’ll have to clear level 3-4 again to reactivate it.

I definitely recommend collecting as many of each clothing item/accessory/magical item as possible, because then you can use copies of them to rank up one of them and make them stronger!

New gacha available

For this half of the event, we have five different types of gacha to try!

-The first gacha at the top is a three-option gacha, so you can choose one option depending on how many Mikucoins you have. The button on the left is one pull only, and it costs you 3 Mikucoins. You can do this one only once a day, and it only gives you one card per pull. The button in the middle is a one pull option too, but you can play it as many times per day as you want, and it costs 5 Mikucoins per pull. If you one of the regular golden gacha tickets, you can use that for one pull using the middle button instead. On the far right we have the third option, which gives you 10 cards plus one extra โ€“the best value out of all three types here. You should get at least one SSR with this gacha, and it costs 50 Mikucoins.

-Our second one is the free gacha, which gives each player the opportunity to do one “10 cards +1 extra” pull without paying anything. These free gacha have pretty good rates for SSRs and SSR+ cards, so don’t forget to try this one.

-Thirdly, we have a gacha which requires specific tickets that you have to buy in the online store. You only get one pull for this, but thereโ€™s a high probability for SSR+ cards. I’ll explain about how to get these tickets in a moment.

-Following this one, we have a gacha which requires a different type of specific ticket. However with this one, you should get no less than an SSR with your pull.

And here are the main cards you’ll be aiming to get with these gacha:

ใ€Œ่’ธๆฐ—ๆฉŸ้–ขใจๆญฏ่ปŠใฎ่ก—ใ€/ “Town of Steam Engines and Cogs” (Jyouki-kikan to haguruma no machi) – SSR+

Art by ้‚ฃๆต

Skill: “I’ll introduce you to the town built on steam!”

ใ€ŒSnow Sky ้›ชใƒŸใ‚ฏใ€/ “Snow Sky Snow Miku” – SSR+

Art by ใธใ„ใ‚ (Heiwa)

Skill: “Let’s sing on the winter grounds”

ใ€ŒSnow Sky ใƒซใ‹ใ€/ “Snow Sky Luka” – SSR+

Art by ใธใ„ใ‚ (Heiwa)

Skill: “Let’s pass the time in the winter grounds”

Snow Sky MEIKO – SSR+

Art by ใธใ„ใ‚ (Heiwa)

Skill: “Let’s be healed in the winter grounds”

Top tip: add any of these cards to your deck during this event (especially as the leader card), and you’ll get a boost of power during missions, and your overall score will be higher!

But those aren’t the only gacha Mikucolle has for us! Lastly we have the Box Gacha, which uses those red box gacha tickets I mentioned earlier.

On this screen is box no.1 out of 7, and each box has at least 12 items within it. Each item within the box can be redeemed once, so you need 12 tickets to finish box one. Then you move onto box 2, which has 13 items, etc. etc. Now I’ll show you whatโ€™s in each box:

(Boxes 2 to 6 all have the same items in them).

As well as getting the steampunk-themed clothing items, there are special cards to collect too:

ใ€ŒใŒใŠใŒใŠโ˜†ใ‹ใ„ใ˜ใ‚…ใ†ใ€/ “Roar Roar โ˜† Monsters” (Gao Gao kaijyuu) – SSR+

Art by ใพใ” (Mago)

Skill: “Everyone’s a monster”

Cards, from left to right: “Gao Gao Kaijyuu” Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito and Meiko.

Miku: “Plant monster” / Rin: “Electricity monster” / Len: “Light monster” / Luka: “Healing monster” / Kaito: “Water droplet monster” / Meiko: “Flame monster”

Items (left to right): Mechanical Bird (right hand item) โ€“ ranks up to level 5
Antique Telescope (right hand item) โ€“ ranks up to level 5
Antique Key (left hand item) โ€“ ranks up to level 5

Now I’ll explain how to earn these white box gacha tickets. In the Event (ใ‚คใƒ™ใƒณใƒˆ) section of the Mission List (ใƒŸใƒƒใ‚ทใƒงใƒณใƒชใ‚นใƒˆ) , youโ€™ll find white tickets with red writing, which you can earn using the methods I outlined previously

All of these white Box Gacha tickets need to be exchanged into red box gacha tickets in the “Exchange Shop” (ไบคๆ›ๆ‰€). 100 red tickets give you just one white ticket, which can actually be used for the box gacha shown. So for example, you’ll need 1200 white box gacha tickets just to get through Box 1.

So to get enough box gacha tickets, you’ll have to try and complete all of the relevant missions, and then grind in the EX Boss level to get more.

Note: you can buy each of these packs a maximum of 10 times.

The last aspect of this event is as follows: when you play an event mission, the points you earn will help you get a rank. Youโ€™ll be placed in a leaderboard amongst other players, and some of the highest ranked will get this card:

ใ€Œ็ด™ใฎใ†ใˆใซๅบƒใŒใ‚‹ไธ–็•Œใ€/ “A world unfolding on paper” (Kami no ue ni hirogaru sekai) – SSR+

Art by ๅงๅท (Sogawa)

Skill: “A variety of colours”

The top 100 players in the rankings will be able to get at least one of these cards!

Thank you for reading my summary of the current Mikucolle event! This event will be running until the 16th March 13:59 JST, so there’s still time to finish it! I’m sure we’ll have more updates soon, so keep your eyes on our social media pages to find out what’s happening next.

Dialogue translations (Part 2):

37. Miku: Ooh, I wonder if you haven’t become rather meek yourself, Kaito.

38. Kaito: I may have become a little meek but… ugh… there’ll never be an end to this kinda stuff, I guess.

39. Miku: So Kaito, what do you think?

40. Kaito: Well there’s no data to work from, right?

41. Miku: I wonder where it is… that data.

42. Kaito: I thought about it too, I mean, you said it yourself. There are enemies in the security circuit in the central analytical engine which haven’t been detected.

43: Miku: I didn’t say that they were enemies necessarily… but yeah.

44. Kaito: You’re the No.1 genius engineer in the town, Miku. That’s something that everyone acknowledges, so there will be no mistakes in your analysis.

45. Kaito: If what you say is true.

46. Miku: If what I say is true?

47: Kaito: A place that you can’t see… there’s nothing outside the steam powered engine that you know of?

48. Miku: Outside…?

49: Ornith [returning again]: *shoo, hee hee chirrrrp*

50: Kaito: Hey, welcome back Ornith! Thanks for your hard work running these errands for me

51: Ornith: *fushuu*

52. Miku: Eh, Kaito, what does Ornith want?

53: Kaito: Mm, I asked him to take this and fly around the town centre with it.

54. Miku: Oooh, it’s so pretty! …Is it a gemstone?

55. Kaito: It looks like an amethyst, but the chemical makeup of it is different. It’s a much rarer type of crystal.

56. Kaito: For example, I’ve been thinking that if there is this something like that in the middle of the town, that would result in the area surrounding it looking kinda distorted or warped, right?

57. Miku: …yeah?

58. Kaito: This crystal will react with the distortion and form a needle shaped-substance inside.

59. Kaito: So to speak, I wonder if the sharp substance could carve up the afterimage of the distortion of space and result a projected time machine…

60. Miku: I don’t really understand, but that sounds amazing!

61. Kaito: It’s pretty cool! With this mission, we can’t even overlook a kitten with its sly steps!

62. Miku: Nevermind that. Then what? What else do you have to say about this gemstone?

63. Kaito: There’s a huge machine which warps time – the Giant Clock.

64. Miku: What even is that?

65. Kaito: A machine which isn’t connected to the town’s circuits… but because the Giant Clock can’t move, it continually multiplies itself.

66. Miku: So you’re saying… that the nucleus of the analytical engine wasn’t under surveillance and we have a situation where this clock thing will just keep multiplying itself?

67. Kaito: Uhh, when you boil it all down…-

68: Miku: That’s a pretty dangerous clock!

69. Kaito: Right, well we’d better stop said clock then!
