Immediately after announcing their Megurine Luka 10th Anniversary merchandise, COCOLLABO reveals the circular watch and fold-up container featuring all of the Crypton Future Media characters (a.k.a. Piapro characters)!

Promotional illustrations for the products were provided by MIYA*KI.

Circular Watches

The watches follow a DJ theme, and have music equipment designs on the front. They are each color-coded for one of the specific Piapro characters, and even sport their names on the back.

Fold-up Containers

The containers also follow a DJ theme, and are meant to look like speakers and mixers. The sides of the containers even have pretend buttons, dials, and displays that have each of the characters’ names on them. They are large enough to hold fifteen 2L bottles, and can be stacked after they are closed. And of course, they can be folded up for safe and easy traveling.

Megurine Luka 10th Anniversary Items From COCOLLABO

COCOLLABO will be showcasing two brand new items at Magical Mirai 2019 celebrating Megurine Luka’s 10th anniversary: the 10th anniversary triangular leather backpack and round leather wallet.

The promotional illustration of Luka for the items was provided by 餡こたく / ancotaku.

Leather Triangular Backpack

Bottom and interior are made from highly durable leather and cordura fabric. The front exterior part is meant to look like Luka’s asymmetrical skirt, while the exterior bottom is meant to resemble the keyboard pattern on Luka’s boots, and the zipper even resembles Luka’s arm cover. Other parts bearing Luka’s name or icons – such as the interior patch with her logo, the 10th anniversary metal accessory, the 03 impression on the shoulder part, etc. – can all be found with close inspection.

The backpack can be pre-ordered here for ￥29,700 JPY until September 10 at 6:00 PM (JST). Doing so will earn you a free 20cm tall acrylic figure stand featuring the Luka illustration by 餡こたく / ancotaku. The product is expected to ship in January 2020.

Leather Round Wallet

The zipper on the wallet is meant to resemble Luka’s hairpiece while the back lining is meant to look like the belt that she wears. The wallet features the same leather interior as the backpack, as well as the patch bearing Luka’s logo, the 10th anniversary metallic part, and 03 impression.

The wallet can be pre-ordered here for ￥18,700 JPY until September 10 at 6:00 PM (JST). Doing so will earn you a free can badge about 76mm in diameter, and featuring the Luka illustration by 餡こたく / ancotaku. The product is expected to ship in January 2020.

V-Summer Updates: Miku to Sing in 12 Performances

When we first reported on V-Summer, we knew that Hatsune Miku would be at the VR live event as a special guest. However, we now learn that this means Miku will actually be performing in all 12 of the planned performances in the two-day long concert event!

Below is a trailer for the event, which reveals the lineup of performers on both days of V-Summer.

And finally, towards the end of the trailer, it is revealed that the special guest, Hatsune Miku herself, will actually be performing with all twelve of the Vtubers in their respective acts!

As to which songs she will be performing, according to this article from PR Times and its partial setlist reveal, one of her songs will be こっち向いて Baby / Kocchi Muite Baby.

On a related note, fans were also treated to this illustration by KEI of Miku standing with the event MCs, YuNi and Mirai Akari.

The illustration will serve as artwork for merchandise like tapestry that can only be bought at the V-Summer event.

Magical Mirai x PIGG PARTY Collaboration Cell Phone Background Designs Now Available

Users of the popular avatar community app, PIGG PARTY, can now download Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2019 background designs for their phones, and fully voiced ones at that!

3. After it is finished installing, go to the “マジカルミライ2019” area, and tap the Simeji icon on the lower-left of the screen. On the next screen, tap GET to acquire the backgrounds!

With the Magical Mirai 2019 backgrounds active, you can listen to Miku speaking when you input certain words on your keypad, and see chibi versions of the other Crypton Future Media characters. Once activated, you will be able to keep and use these backgrounds for 180 days. They will only be available for download until August 31.

Hatsune Miku x Venus Eleven Vivid Collaboration Announced

Fans may recall the collaboration between Tohoku Zunko and Venus Eleven Vivid from earlier this year.

Now it will soon be Hatsune Miku’s turn on the soccer field! That’s because a new collaboration with Miku has been confirmed!

Twitter Campaign

To get players pumped for the collab, a Twitter campaign is now underway on the Venus Eleven Vivid official Twitter account.

To participate, players will need to first follow @Venus11Vivid on Twitter. Then they retweet the below tweet with both the hashtags #びびびミク and #初音ミク between now and 11:59 PM on August 30 (JST) in order to accumulate points for the campaign organizers to tally up.

How many points your retweet creates for the campaign depends on what else you retweet it with.

Retweeting with text only: 1 point

Retweeting with a screenshot or image: 5 points

Retweeting with a video: 10 points

Retweeting with an illustration: 10 points

MIKU WITH YOU 2019 Main Visual and Information Revealed

The main visual for MIKU WITH YOU 2019 has been revealed, and the event’s official website is now online!

The theme of the visual follows a “Dancing Fairy” motif, and was provided by 织布机loom / Zhībùjī loom.

Event Details

MIKU WITH YOU 2019 will first take place in Chengdu on November 9, and then, for the first time, in Guangzhou on November 23 and 24.

According to the official MIKU WITH YOU Weibo page, the organizers promise that each stop will feature its own exclusive content for visitors to enjoy. Advanced ticket sales for the Guangzhou stop will begin on August 8 at 10:39 AM (CST) while ticket sales for the Chengdu stop will begin at 3:39 PM (CST) on the same day on Damai. Bilibili users will also be able to purchase them on the Bilibili Members page.

Information on the other two locations will be revealed in time, so be sure to follow the MIKU WITH YOU Weibo page and official site for more updates!

New SEGA Prizes for September, 2019 Revealed

The Hatsune Miku SEGA Prizes that will be coming in September, 2019 have been revealed, and they are sure to please any fan of the GHOST module!

First up is the “Hatsune Miku – GHOST” Super Premium Figure. Standing at about 21 cm tall, she will be available sometime during the first week of September as a prize item at SEGA game centers.

Usagi no Utage 2, Akari no Utage 0 Announced

The third Usagi no Utage doujin event for Yuzuki Yukari, named Usagi no Utage 2 (which started with Usagi no Utage 0), has been announced to take place on October 20 at the Tajimi Industry & Culture Center! They are currently preparing their entry form for artist circles that will be interested in attending, so expect more news once it is complete. In the meantime, you can enjoy the promotional artwork by おむ烈 / Omelette!

But that’s not the only exciting news for fans of VOCALOMAKETS characters. Also announced is the first ever Kizuna Akari doujin event, Akari no Utage 0, taking place on the same day and at the same location!
