1st Place 15th Anniversary Collaboration Campaign with JOYSOUND Announced

In celebration of the upcoming 1st Place 15th Anniversary concert “KEEP HAVING FUN” on August 17, Karaoke JOYSOUND has announced a new collaboration campaign with Lia, IA, and ONE.

From August 1 to September 1 at participating JOYSOUND locations, anyone who sings a song by Lia, IA, or ONE can be entered into the 15th anniversary campaign to win some special prizes. Furthermore, the collaboration illustration featuring IA and ONE, and a comment movie will be shown at each JOYSOUND location.

Then from August 7 to August 20, those who download songs by Lia, IA, or ONE on animelo mix or e-onkyo music will also be entered into the campaign to receive some fabulous prizes. During this same period, animelo mix will even be offering a special discount on Kagerou Project songs.

Summer WonFes 2019 Product Round Up!

The Summer round of WonFes 2019 was in full swing last night if you’re in the western hemisphere and this morning if you’re farther east. We saw lots of VOCALOID related figures, although many we already knew about. There were also some previously announced figures possibly missing from the line up.

Unfortunately, a typhoon did dampen the excitement of WonFes and soaked many WonFes goers. So Twitter wasn’t as full of pictures from WonFes attendees as usual. But this is what we found from following Twitter throughout the event!

Miku Figures

Miku took up a good chunk of the VOCALOID related figures this time around. Surprisingly, there weren’t any new Nendoroids on display. But we did get to see progress on several scales as well as some new scale figure announcements and a new prize figure!

At Winter WonFes 2019, this 1/7 scale Snow Miku figure was announced. And now we have a painted prototype! There’s currently no news on a release date or pricing but we should have that information very soon.

This figure is a bit of an odd one as the colored prototype was previously revealed at Shanghai WonFes. However it’s not the only one to not make an appearance at Summer WonFes 2019. Luo Tianyi Lemon Ver. was also missing.

Many fans were worried this figure may have been cancelled after not making an appearance at Winter WonFes 2019. Thankfully it’s still in production and even has a prototype now! We even have a video with a view from several angles.

Where’s Tianyi?

The colored version of the much anticipated Luo Tianyi Yellow Version scale also first appeared at Shanghai WonFes earlier this year. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem to show up at Summer WonFes 2019. Hopefully this doesn’t mean a limited release to only China.

No HaiYi?

Another surprise was no update on the HaiYi figure previously teased by Quadimension. With the teasers coming so close to WonFes, many fans thought that the company would surely reveal the figure during the event. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Hopefully we’ll see the figure soon!

gynoid and v flower made two exciting announcements today on their respective Twitter accounts.

First is the announcement of gynoid Talk flower! Her official talk bank is now under development, so the name is not final, nor is there a release date set yet. But once more details arrive, we’ll report!

Club Kotonoha 2 and Yukari🌙Akari⭐Night Announced

It has been confirmed on Twitter that the Club Kotonoha 2 DJ event will take place on October 4, 2019! This is the follow-up to the first Club Kotonoha event that took place back in May to critical acclaim.

Be sure to follow them on Twitter to keep up with all incoming information!

But that wasn’t the only exciting news. Announced simultaneously was the Yukari🌙Akari⭐Night DJ event! Their newly opened Twitter account reveals that it will take place on August 16, 2019 at the Kichijoji Club Seata, and will of course feature primarily Yuzuki Yukari and Kizuna Akari songs. Furthermore, it has so far been confirmed that かごめP / KagomeP, ちょむP / ChomP, and Akihiro Ohtani will be the performing DJs!

The entrance fee is ￥3,500 JPY, but those who follow them or the Club Kotonoha Twitter accounts will be given a ￥1,000 JPY discount, so it will literally pay to follow them!

Luo Tianyi x Shumen Collaboration Announced

Luo Tianyi will make her appearance in the mobile MMORPG Shumen on August 2! The teaser page finally revealed the collaboration today, July 23, and further shows other activities, an MV for the main theme song, and more to come in the following days.

Tianyi’s debut in the game will bring with it five new adventures for players to experience. Also revealed is the dance video for Tianyi’s cover of the song 大碗宽面 / Dàwǎn Kuānmiàn (Big Bowl Thick Noodle) with the game’s character Mo Yun.

Tianyi’s appearance in the game will be that of a chibi companion fairy who always sticks to the player and wears a headset. She will also appear as “Luo Shui Tianyi,” wearing a beautiful blue and white dress.

Finally, to celebrate the start of the collaboration, Shumen is now holding a cosplay contest for entrants to cosplay as Tianyi or as one of the characters in the game. Winners of the contest can win a Huawei P30 Pro, ￥1,500 RMB or ￥2000 RMB.

To enter, simply take a photo of yourself cosplaying as Tianyi or a Shumen character, and then follow Shumen official Weibo account and post the photo to Weibo with the hashtag #依见倾心cos大赛#, the subject #cos#  , and the tag @蜀门手游 before August 25.

Furthermore, those who follow Shumen on Weibo and share the below announcement post before August 25 can have the chance to win the following prizes:

Details have emerged for the known collaboration with Luo Tianyi and Mirinda at Bilibili Macro Link. Whether you’re able to attend the show this Friday, July 19 at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena or not, Mirinda is giving you the chance to win some Tianyi dolls!
