And with VOCALOID growing even more popular in China, WonFes Shanghai is now another event for fans to keep an eye on.

Hatsune Miku: Memorial Dress Ver. 1/7 Scale
The star of the show was by far the Hatsune Miku: Memorial Dress Ver. scale. First seen as an unpainted prototype at Winter WonFes 2019, it stunned everyone. And now we’ve finally got a painted version!
Now that we have a painted version, fans are realizing all of the details and song references in the design: Especially in Miku’s twintails.
First announced in February 2018, this figure became an instant hit before news on it went silent. Thankfully we’ve finally got news and amazing news at that: There’s a painted prototype and a release date!
The figure will release in May 2020 and will cost fans ¥13,704
The album ” 初梦 ” (The First Dream) by Mikai Music is super popular for a reason! And now the album art is getting the special treatment of becoming a scale figure! While the price and release date are still TBA, many fans can’t wait to add this to their collection.
Miku V4 Chinese is a fan favorite design. Her Nendoroid and scale figure were both met with lots of love so it only makes sense to complete the GSC trifecta with a figma!
After the announcement of the Thailand design for this year’s Racing Miku, it was only a matter of time before a scale figure was announced. And now we finally have confirmation! Hopefully we’ll be able to see an unpainted prototype by Summer WonFes! (Or if we’re really lucky, a painted one)

The event announcement reminds everyone about the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake from September, 2018, and the Great East Japan Earthquake from March, 2011. This special program is being held in commemoration of those who lost their lives in the earthquakes, as well as in support of the reconstruction efforts, bringing Tohoku, Hokkaido, and all of Japan together in a night of solidarity.
And during that night, Hatsune Miku songs will be played while fireworks light up the sky! The announcement made it clear that Miku will not actually be appearing or performing, but this is sure to be a special night for all fans in attendance, nonetheless.

Chiyu’s first demo song and Shian’s second demo song were confirmed to be part of the album, but the rest is still anybody’s guess. Furthermore, the official Weibo post points out how Shian’s eye color is different from normal in the cover illustration, and challenges fans to use that as a guess for what the subject of the song could be.

**UPDATE ON JUNE 24, 2019**
It seems like the album has been officially named as “天马行空Fairytale / Tiān Mǎ Xíng Kōng Fairytale” (literally meaning “Heavenly Steed Crosses the Sky Fairytale”), as revealed by this post.
This post was previously made about a week prior to gather opinions on the new name, which seems to have been approved. They state that the idea is the keep the naming style consistent with the previous album, 天方夜谭 Fairyland (which literally means “Arabian Nights Fairyland”). Stay tuned as more information about this exciting album is released!
Those who couldn’t make it to Niconico Cho Kaigi but wanted some ONE and ONEgai Darlin’ collaboration goods are now in luck. The goods will soon be available for purchase online and at select animate stores starting on June 9!
World Baked Cheesecake made a surprise announcement that on June 29, they will be holding a special event called the Tohoku Zunko Concert in Cheese Kitchen (東北ずん子音楽会inチーズキッチン)! There, they will be holding a concert and VOCALOID lectures, and of course serving some Tohoku Sisters food and drinks!
During the first half of the event, Zunko will perform a DTM live concert for the guests in attendance! This will then be followed by an open discussion about music, and DTM expert 荒芳樹 / ARA and きゅおんママ / sound9th will be leading a beginner’s VOCALOID lecture and lesson. During the lessons, apple tea will even be served.
Then during the second half of the event, food will be served from the special Tohoku Sisters menu, which goes as so:
