Hatsune Miku x BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Global Collaboration Confirmed

A post on the official Facebook page for BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! has revealed that the Hatsune Miku collaboration will be coming to the global version of the game on June 10!

The songs will most likely be the same ones from the Japanese version of the game from last August, which we previously covered as so:

Hatsune Miku 2nd Season Summer Ver. Figure Pics Revealed

The Hatsune Miku 2nd Season Summer Ver. figure from Taito will be coming sometime in the latter half of June. But before its release, we get to see a bunch of photos of it first!

The figure is based on an illustration of Miku by ワダアルコ / Wadarco. You can see just how closely the figure recreates the illustration! Specifically, pictured above is the normal version of the figure with Miku winking.

Furthermore, participating shops will also carry the limited store version in which Miku keeps both eyes open, and wears alternate colors. Finally, a third version with Miku shutting both her eyes will available as a prize in the Taito Online Crane Game!

XingYunShi has announced a pair of Hatsune Miku umbrellas. And these aren’t your typical run-of-the-mill umbrellas. Read on to see what makes them special!

Hatsune Miku Rhythm Fold-up Umbrella

The first product is a color-changing umbrella. The surface of the umbrella will start off green and white. But when exposed to ultraviolet light, the white parts will steadily change to pink, making it Miku colors!

“HATSUNE MIKU Speaking Hokkaido Dialect” LINE Stickers Now Available

New Hatsune Miku LINE stickers from とみか@なまけもんP (Tomica@NamakemonP) are now available!

What makes these stickers stand out is how Miku’s words are actually not in the standard Tokyo dialect, but instead are in various Hokkaido dialects. If this seems odd to you, then keep in mind that Miku’s creators, Crypton Future Media, are based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, meaning Miku herself can be considered a Hokkaido native! In fact, that’s what served as the artist’s inspiration for making these stickers, because the artist themselves are from Hokkaido.

The stickers will only be available for purchase until October 14, 2019 at 11:59 PM. But once you purchase them, they are yours to keep and use, so those who are interested in a purchase should visit the LINE Store page here and purchase the 40 stickers for just $0.99 USD!

Shian’s Official Demo Song Now Available, Made Using Semi-Finished Voice Bank

Quadimension has silently uploaded Shian’s official demo song, “禁忌Apple Dance / Jìnjì Apple Dance (Taboo Apple Dance)” on their official Bilibili channel. You can listen to the full song below!

But who is the song’s producer, arranger, lyric-writer, etc.**, and why was there no big social media announcement for it?

In the comments section of the video, Ddickky explains that creation of Shian’s Synthesizer V product is taking longer then expected, and that they will not be able to release her on time. However, they understand that fans are still eager to hear more of her voice in a demo song, so they quickly created this using her semi-finished product.

He then tells fans to expect a much better demonstration of her voice to be released in the future as they continue development, and to understand that this demo song is not indicative of her final product.

We look forward to hearing an updated demo song using Shian’s completed voice bank, and will share the news right away once it is made public!

**UPDATE ON MAY 31

We now learn that the song’s producer is Zeno through a post on Quadimension’s official Weibo. In that post, they again stress that this song does not represent her finalized voice bank, and that they expect to release something even better next week.

Magical Mirai 2019 Exhibition Stage in Osaka Special Live Performers and Ticketing Announced

There won’t be a Miku concert on the very first day of Magical Mirai 2019 on August 9th. However, there will be a special Exhibition Stage in Osaka Special Live DJ and band performance on that day instead! Featuring an all-star cast of performers, it will be sure to please even those who wanted a Miku concert on opening day!

Magical Mirai Concert Tickets

As for tickets to Miku’s shows, the next round of applications will start soon on June 1 at 12:00 PM, and remain open until June 9 at 11:59 PM! They will be taking place on Ticketpia here during thee appointed time, and results will be announced at 6:00 PM on June 13.

There will be options for A seats (￥7,000 JPY), S seats (￥8,000 JPY), SS seats (￥9,000 JPY), “Magical Viewing” seats (￥7,000 JPY), and U-18 seats (￥3,900 JPY).

Magical Viewing Seats (recommended for families):

General ticket sales will then start on July 13 at 10:00 AM.
