Magical Mirai 2019 Designs for the Remaining Cryptonloids Revealed

During the Snow Miku Time livetream on May 9, 2019, the official Magical Mirai 2019 illustrations for KAITO, MEIKO, Kagamine Len, Kagamine Rin, and Megurine Luka were revealed!

Just like with Miku, they were illustrated by ni02, and follow a “circus” theme. They even explain what each character is supposed to be:

Miku: troupe leader
Rin and Len: beasts
MEIKO: beast tamer
KAITO: juggler
Luka: dancer in a flower outfit

Luo Tianyi Lemon Debit IC Card Now Being Reissued

The Vsinger and Bank of China collaboration debit IC cards – bearing Tianyi’s “lemon” outfit by TID – are now making a comeback! 5000 of these cards are currently up for grabs again for those who apply for them online here.

This time around, they will come with a different set of goodies: a Tianyi can badge, refrigerator magnet, and keychain, all showing the familiar (and adorable) Tianyi illustrations by Haku白!

Doctor=Funk Beat Novelization Details

The novelization of ドクター＝ファンクビート / Doctor=Funk Beat by nyanyannya will soon be released on May 15! It will feature illustrations by 予感子 / Yokanko, the artist responsible for the song’s PV, bringing the world created in the song to life! Check out the promotional video.

The novel is being published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha, and will retail for ￥1,300 JPY before tax.

The whole story will cover 5 different tales about the genius doctor encountering various illnesses, all written by nyanyannya. The publication even comes with different QR codes that you can scan in order to actually listen to songs as BGM while you read, with a total of seven songs in all! This truly makes this a more immersive experience than other run-of-the mill novels.

Taito Reveals Hatsune Miku Birthday Figure

Taito has tweeted some photos of the upcoming Hatsune Miku Birthday figure!

The illustration that inspired the figure was provided by モゲラッタ / Mogelatte, and it will make its debut in August, 2019, just in time for Miku’s 12th anniversary!

Miku Expo 2019 x R4G Collaboration Merchandise Revealed

R4G has revealed the collaboration merchandise that we previously mentioned based on the music video for ラッキー☆オーブ / Lucky☆Orb, the theme song to Miku Expo 2019! Be sure to give said music video a watch if you haven’t already!

R4G will begin taking pre-orders for the new merchandise beginning on May 11, 2019 on the SHELL’TER Web Store. They will also be available at R4G’s store booth at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park during Miku Expo 2019 in Taiwan on the same day!

Boxed Version of Chiyu’s Synthesiver V Product Coming Soon

Quadimension has revealed the physical version of Chiyu’s Synthesizer V product in a post on their official Weibo page! They’ve even announced that they will begin production tomorrow (May 8, 2019)!

They added that her physical boxed product will be containing the most updated version of Chiyu’s voice bank, likely ver. 10 by the time it will be ready for sale. Look forward to a new product page once it will be made available!

Voicemith Reveals LanCee in a Short Preview Video

Fan who have been following our Facebook page may recall us reporting on a new character from Voicemith – creator of Xia Yu Yao – named 蘭希 / LanCee! Her existence was revealed through a series of games that could be played on Voicemith’s Facebook page, and through which you could win wallpapers and ringtones! See a recap below:

By completing these reveal games, we learned that her name is LanCee. Her design, however, has remained a mystery for months.

But now a short teaser preview on Voicemith’s Facebook page has finally revealed a bit of her outfit, 3D model, and even her voice!
