nami (親方P / OyakataP) will be releasing their brand new album called “極東アーティファクト / Kyokutou Artifact (Far East Artifact),” a 6-track album featuring Akari and Yukari songs at Koetsuki 5! Check out the crossfade!
坂口貴行 / Sakaguchi Kikou will be distributing a new illustration book of Yukari in swimsuits, as well as a new short story featuring Yukari and IA. You can see samples of both in their tweet above!
Coming all the way from Hong Kong to attend Koetsuki 5 is Rudra with the final installment of their “これは、ある少女 / Kore wa, Aru Shoujo” illustration book series, this one being titled “これは、ある少女の願い / Kore wa, Aru Shoujo no Negai (This is the Wish of a Certain Girl)” featuring Yukari, IA, ONE, and MAYU! Also coming along for the ride is their YukaIA acrylic stand, plus their past publications and keychains.
Are you a YukaIA fan who would like to see the pair get married? ゆずのり / Yuzunori would like to entertain the thought with their Yukari & IA wedding anthology set, consisting of an illustration book and novel! They will even throw in a free YukaIA newspaper, and treat their booth visitors to a life-size display of IA in a wedding dress!
For something a little edgier, しく / shiku brings us their own doujin manga called “YUKAIA’s WARTIME RECORDS,” plus an acrylic figure based on the cover illustration. If you ever wondered how Yukari and IA would conduct themselves on the battlefield, then see samples pages from the manga below!

The Official 1st Place Shop Hachimaki is taking pre-orders for their new IA and ONE leather key cases until May 20, 2019 at 11:59 PM (JST). They come in four different colors and are made of either real or imitation leather. They measure about 5.7cm × 10.7cm when closed, and 16.9cm × 10.7cm when open.
Chunghwa Telecom is holding a competition in which entrants are challenged to create a new virtual idol to serve as a mascot for their HiNet broadband internet service. Entrants must log in to HiNet’s contest page here and submit their character design by June 30, 2019.
Then from July 15 through August 31, the public will be able to vote on their favorite entries through Facebook, and judges selected by HiNet will also be critiquing the designs based on originality and how well they capture the essence of the company. The winning entries will be determined and their designers notified by September 30. Then finally on November 28, the grand prize winner will be revealed and turned into an actual 3D VTuber model, complete with a theme song composed for them.
The contest is being promoted by Taiwanese VTuber, KITSUNEKON, as well as 迷漾 / Mi Yang, the voice provider for UTAU Xia Yu Yao of Voicemith. You can find the contest introduction video below.

Furthermore, Quadimension has also posted images for updates to the products pages for the standard outfits and Dragon Boat Festival series of character keychains to include Chiyu! As always, the illustrations were provided by 枫叶 / Fēngyè. Each keychain can be purchased for ￥18 RMB individually, or for ￥70 as a full set.

Who’s ZERO, you may be asking? We’re not entirely sure ourselves, but you can always re-watch her concept trailer to come up with theories.

Day 2, however, is going to be all about the merch! Here’s a look at just a few of the many, many Yukari and VOICEROID fan circles who will have wares to sell during the event!
The creators of Yuzuki Yukari and Kizuno Akari themselves will have a booth at Koetsuki 5! They will be selling Yukari and Akari stamps based on もやししゃも / moyashi-shiyamo‘s adorable illustrations of them that were used for their official LINE stickers (which you can find here and here). There will be four types of stamps that you can purchase – two for each character – costing ￥800 JPY each (tax included). However, only 100 of each variety will be available, so those hoping to purchase one will have to act fast!
October Beast is also introducing their new Yuzuki Yukari 2019 and Kizuna Akari 2019 T-shirts at Koetsuki 5! You can even see photos of models for the shirts below.
The Tohoku Region mascot girl from SSS LLC. will have her own official booth as well! In addition to albums and other items from her official shop, they will also be selling what they are calling “thighs noren (ふともものれん),” hangable curtains featuring closeups of each of the Tohoku sisters’ thighs for ￥3,500 JPY each!
KAI recently attended at the Niconico Cho Kaigi 2019 where they introduced their newest album, “ゆかビリティ２/ YUKABILITY 2,” and will be bringing it to Koetsuki 5 next! This collection of folk-style music from around the world truly showcases Yukari’s versatility and potential for all sorts of music. Check out the crossfade below to see what we mean!

Koetsuki may be a Yukari- and VOICEROID-centered event, but that doesn’t mean it excludes other voice synth characters. Also having a presence is IA, notably in the “YukaIA Thanksgiving (ゆかいあ感謝祭)” circles. One such artist is キマシタワーP / KimashiTowerP who will bringing back their sync-loid:07 album of Yukari and IA songs, as well as a new novel entitled “ゆかいあ世界 令和号 (YukaIA World, Reiwa Edition)” which is all about – you guessed it – Yukari and IA’s world!
Don’t be surprised to see some Otomachi Una at Koetsuki, either! Among their large catalog of goods, さんだー / Sander will be bringing a new phone case with a cute Una and Kiritan illustration!

Get your fortune told by Yukari, the matchmaking goddess, at Koetsuki 5! By placing money in the offerings box, Yukari herself will speak to you and give you a fortune slip. By scanning the QR code on the fortune slip, Yukari will even read it aloud for you!

The game creators who took part in Voice Game Jam 3 earlier this year will have their works introduced during the event. Visitors to the corner can even try them out for themselves! Artist きゃらあい / Kyaraai will be present at Koetsuki 5 to give live painting demonstrations to visitors! Here’s what she has to say:
“I’ve been given the honor of holding a live painting event for Yukari-chan and Akari-chan! I really look forward to painting my two lovelies on a giant canvas! I hope to give a performance that everyone in attendance can enjoy, so please come watch!” (From the official webpage)

Illustrations of Yukari and Akari by 縞城依月 / Shimashiro Itsuki will be turned into life-size panel displays that visitors to Koetsuki 5 can take pictures with! The event organizers even invite you to post your photos with the hashtag #声月五 on Twitter.
Koetsuki 5 attendees can make Yukari and Akari shadowbox papercrafts! For ￥500 JPY, you can purchase a shadowbox kit for Yukari and Akari illustrations by もやししゃも / moyashi-shiyamo, and get advice from experts who will be present.
Back by popular demand, a chronology looking back at Yukari and Akari’s past accomplishments will be up on display at Koetsuki 5 as well! There will even be some extra space on the chronology for fans to freely write about how they discovered Yukari and Akari, their fondest memories with them, or even just draw the characters!

Furthermore have you ever wanted to speak with Yukari or spend a nice relaxing day with her? At Koetsuki 5, you can do just that by donning an HMD and talk with her face-to-face! This is made possible thanks to ヒホ / hiho.
Keisuke Kurita from AI Inc., creators of the technology behind VOICEROID, will be present at Koetsuki 5 to hold a mini interview, and to also celebrate the fifth anniversary of Kotonoha Akane and Aoi! See our past article on the Kotonoha Happy Birthday 2019 event that will be part of Koetsuki 5.

New to Koetsuki 5 is the drama show that will take place in the afternoon of the first day. The show is called “Kagayake! Yukarin Star Festival!” and will feature a large cast of characters who will appear as 3D models performing the play!
The play takes place in a world where VOCALOID and VOICEROID characters are idols, and newcomer Kizuna Akari is still finding her way.
Then one day, she learns about the event known as “Kagayake! Yukarin Star Festival” where artists can freely bring and show off their works. It is also being hosted by Akari’s top idol, Yuzuki Yukari.
To prepare for the event, Akari gets to work on a new song, all while receiving assistance (and maybe a little mischief) from Tsurumaki Maki, the Kotonoha sisters, the Tohoku sisters, and more. What will become of Akari’s challenge?
To attend the drama show, visitors must first pledge ￥2,000 JPY online and receive a ticket, along with other goods that they can purchase and get on the day of the event. Here’s what else pledgers can receive.

Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid #1000 celebrations are in full force! In addition to a photo contest that will be going until April of next year, Good Smile Company is also offering fans the chance to suggest what Nendoroid they wouldd like to see next or see re-released.
Now for VOCALOID fans, this means one thing: Please make more VOCALOID characters, Good Smile! Unless you’re me, then all you really want is the KAITO V3 1/4 scale.
The process is super simple! Just head to this link here and fill in your email address. Then choose if you’d like a re-release or to request a new character.
If the character you want is a new Nendoroid, all you have to do is tell GSC what series the character is from and the character’s name. We suggest using “VOCALOID” and the company’s name to make sure GSC knows exactly who you’re talking about.
So something like:
“Vsinger VOCALOID” or “1st Place CeVIO”
Get all your friends to suggest their favorite virtual singer as well! While the number of votes won’t determine the winner automatically, Good Smile definitely takes fan suggestions and demands seriously.
And if you’d like a re-release, you have a list of over 1,000 Nendoroids to go through. Don’t worry, though, here’s a list of non-Miku VOCALOID Nendoroids and their numbers to help you out. There’s far too many Mikus to list, but a bit of research should help you if you’re looking for a re-release of one of the rarer Miku Nendos. (We’re also not including any Happy Kuji Lottery prizes as those weren’t regular Nendoroid releases and are less likely to see re-releases)
