Kiritan Matsuri Booth Overview

The first ever Tohoku Kiritan-only doujin event, Kiritan Matsuri, is going on now at the Nagoya Companies Welfare Hall! For those who aren’t currently there, though, here’s a look at what attendees can purchase at the event!

Sumii‘s newest publication, “Kiri’s FIELD” featuring Kiritan and Una, is now on display at Kiritan Matsuri, as are many of their older publications, acrylic keychains, and can badge sets which also feature Aoi and Yuzuki Yukari.

泥船カササギ / Dorobune Kasasagi

Newcomer テイトオ / Teitoo has brought copies of their food manga, “もくもくきりたん / Mokumoku Kiritan,” to Kiritan Matsuri. It’s based off their series of food videos of the same name that you can watch on their Niconico channel!

春日野道知ル辺 / Kasuga Nomichi Shirube

If it’s clear file folders that you’re looking for, then 春日はんたー / Kasuga Hunter has them in spades! Check out each of the folders that they have for Kiritan, Zunko, Itako, and the cast of Zunda Horizon!

東北ずん子 / Tohoku Zunko

Speaking of Zunko, she has her own official booth at Kiritan Matsuri as well! Her catalogue shows a lot of official albums, novels, posters, a clipboard, card carrying case, mini figures, tapestries, T-shirts, and voice dramas featuring the Tohoku sisters!

Even if this is your first time hearing about Kiritan, there’s no doubt that anyone attending Kiritan Matsuri or even just reading about it here will feel very well acquainted with her before long! Well done on the very first Kiritan Matsuri, and we look forward to Kiritan Matsuri 02!

Kotonoha Akane & Aoi T-Shirt Up for Pre-Order

October Beast has another new surprise for us. Available now for pre-order on the AHS Store is the Kotonoha Akane & Aoi T-shirt!

The shirt is available for ￥4,104 JPY (tax included) and in S, M, L, and XL sizes. Of course the designer is Less Kitayama!

Yuzuki Yukari Sticker Set Announced for Supporters of the Yuzuki Yukari Carry Case

October Beast and AHS have announced the Yuzuki Yukari special sticker set for those who pre-ordered a Yuzuki Yukari Carry Case! They held a challenge in which the carry case needed to reach 500 pre-orders by April 2 in order to official become a product, a goal that they were able to meet with barely a day to spare!

As thanks for those who made the Yuzuki Yukari Carry Case a reality, October Beast has designed a special sticker set that will be sent along with the carry case to anyone who pre-ordered the case and support the challenge! Take a look below!

Animated Seyana! Akane-chan LINE Stickers Now Awaiting Approval

It has been reported on Kotonoha Akane and Aoi’s official blog and Twitter page that animated LINE stickers based on 何でも言うことを聞いてくれるアカネチャン / Nan Demo Iu Koto wo Kiite Kureru Akane-chan (Akane chan Will Listen to Whatever You Have to Say) by GYARI have been submitted, and are now awaiting approval by the LINE Store.

If approved, the announcement will be made on the blog and Twitter page, and the stickers will be found under the name “動く！Seyana!アカネチャン ” (Ugoku! Seyana! Akane-chan)

Can you imagine soon being able to use animated clips from this video as LINE stickers? Look forward to the announcement soon!

War of Zodiac x Tohoku Sisters Collaboration Announced

War of Zodiac from XRoads has announced a new collaboration with the Tohoku Sisters!

So far, all that has been revealed is some of the Kiritan artwork by ごとー / Gotoo that will be used in the game, and that the team will have a both at the fifth Koetsuki doujin event on May 4.

Now also revealed are the Tohoku Itako illustrations by 伊月あづま / Koretsuki Azuma!

**UPDATE ON APRIL 11, 2019**
We now get to see Kiritan’s character model doing walking, running, and jumping animations. Isn’t she so cute that you just want to play as her now?

**UPDATE ON APRIL 15, 2019**
And now we get to see still images of both Kiritan and Itako’s character models!

More information will surely be revealed as May 4 approaches, so stay tuned for more details!

Tohoku Zunko 3D Anime Project Updates

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the Tohoku Zunko 3D anime project. However, the GREEN FUNDING page was kind enough to give us a progress report on how the anime characters are coming along!

  • Character illustrations: Complete!
  • 3D modeling: under fine-tuning
  • Motion animations: about 1/3 complete
  • Facial expressions: not yet started

So as you can see, they are still a ways off from completion of the character models. But we at VocaSphere would rather see the team take their time creating a truly enjoyable product, as opposed to rushing through it, so our hats off to them!
