Club Kotonoha 2 and Yukari🌙Akari⭐Night Announced

It has been confirmed on Twitter that the Club Kotonoha 2 DJ event will take place on October 4, 2019! This is the follow-up to the first Club Kotonoha event that took place back in May to critical acclaim.

Be sure to follow them on Twitter to keep up with all incoming information!

But that wasn’t the only exciting news. Announced simultaneously was the Yukari🌙Akari⭐Night DJ event! Their newly opened Twitter account reveals that it will take place on August 16, 2019 at the Kichijoji Club Seata, and will of course feature primarily Yuzuki Yukari and Kizuna Akari songs. Furthermore, it has so far been confirmed that かごめP / KagomeP, ちょむP / ChomP, and Akihiro Ohtani will be the performing DJs!

The entrance fee is ￥3,500 JPY, but those who follow them or the Club Kotonoha Twitter accounts will be given a ￥1,000 JPY discount, so it will literally pay to follow them!

Kotonoha Akane & Aoi Life-Size Bath Towel, T-Shirt Now Available for Pre-order

The Kotonoha Akane and Aoi microfiber bath towel is now available for pre-order on their official shop for ￥8,640 JPY!

Measuring at 110cm x 160cm, this near life-size microfiber towel features the “Yukata Sisters” illustration of the twins. Due to its size, the makers suggest that it can also serve as a beach blanket, or even as a wall tapestry!

Pre-orders will remain open until July 29th at 1:00 PM (JST). The towel is planned for release towards the end of August.

It has been revealed that those who purchase the bath towel will receive a 10cm tall sticker of the twins in their yukata design!

Furthermore, the Kotonoha Yukata Sisters short-sleeved T-shirt is now up for pre-order as well!

“Kagayake! Yukarin Star Festival” Now Available Online

If you read our day 1 overview of the Kono Koe Todoke, Tsuki Made Mo 5 (hereafter “Koetsuki 5”) doujin event from May, and were left wishing that you could watch the new “Kagayake! Yukarin Star Festival” drama show, then you’re in luck! The event organizers have now uploaded the show in its entirety online for all to watch and enjoy!

The show tells the story of how Kizuna Akari struggles to write a new song and attend to titular festival in order to impress her idol, Yuzuki Yukari, and make a name for herself in the process. The show is 100% fanmade, so none of the character personalities are official. Of course, the fact that it’s completely fanmade makes it all the more impressive that an entire drama show, pooling together an all VOCALOID and VOICEROID cast with their animations and spoken lines created without official assistance, could be made like this!

Kotonoha Happy Birthday Goods Now Available Online, Highlights from Recent Events

Both the Club Kotonoha DJ show and the Kotonoha Happy Birthday celebration took place earlier this month to the delight of their fans! Below are some highlights from the events, plus information on where fans can purchase their goods online.

Kotonoha Happy Birthday

On the first day of Koetsuki 5 on May 3, the Kotonoha twins’ voice provider, Yui Sakakibara herself was there to sign autographs and give handshakes to attendees. Below, we even see her posing with the life-size panel displays of the twins with some cosplaying staff, and visit other booths like those from AHS and 吉田ヨシツギ / Yoshida Yoshitsugi!

This of course came just one day after the Club Kotonoha DJ event on May 2! Below are some tweets from that event by the featured musicians and other attendees who were present at the show, as well as music samples for some of the songs performed!

Koetsuki 5 Booth Overview 1

Day 2 of Kono Koe Todoke, Tsuki Made Mo 5 (hereafter “Koetsuki 5”) will take place on Saturday, May 4 at the Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO. You can check out our previous article about Koetsuki 5 for an overview of the activities planned for Day 1.

Day 2, however, is going to be all about the merch! Here’s a look at just a few of the many, many Yukari and VOICEROID fan circles who will have wares to sell during the event!

VOCALOMAKETS

The creators of Yuzuki Yukari and Kizuno Akari themselves will have a booth at Koetsuki 5! They will be selling Yukari and Akari stamps based on もやししゃも / moyashi-shiyamo‘s adorable illustrations of them that were used for their official LINE stickers (which you can find here and here). There will be four types of stamps that you can purchase – two for each character – costing ￥800 JPY each (tax included). However, only 100 of each variety will be available, so those hoping to purchase one will have to act fast!

AHS Store

The AHS Store will be bringing a large catalog of goods that any fan of their characters would be delighted to see! Of particular note are the brand new keychains for Kotonoha Akane, Kotonoha Aoi, Tsukiyomi Ai, Tsukuiyomi Shouta, Nekomura Iroha, SF-A2 miki, Macne Nana, and Kyomachi Seika for ￥800 JPY each!

Also new is the sticker set based on the song “無限にホメてくれる桜乃そら先生 / Mugen ni Hometekureru Haruno Sora-sensei (Haruno Sora-sensei Will Praise You Endlessly) by GYARI for ￥400 JPY.

October Beast is also introducing their new Yuzuki Yukari 2019 and Kizuna Akari 2019 T-shirts at Koetsuki 5! You can even see photos of models for the shirts below.

Tohoku Zunko

The Tohoku Region mascot girl from SSS LLC. will have her own official booth as well! In addition to albums and other items from her official shop, they will also be selling what they are calling “thighs noren (ふともものれん),” hangable curtains featuring closeups of each of the Tohoku sisters’ thighs for ￥3,500 JPY each!

ハガネノウサギゴヤ / Hagane no Usagi Goya

KAI recently attended at the Niconico Cho Kaigi 2019 where they introduced their newest album, “ゆかビリティ２/ YUKABILITY 2,” and will be bringing it to Koetsuki 5 next! This collection of folk-style music from around the world truly showcases Yukari’s versatility and potential for all sorts of music. Check out the crossfade below to see what we mean!

キマシタワーProduction / Kimashi Tower Production

Koetsuki may be a Yukari- and VOICEROID-centered event, but that doesn’t mean it excludes other voice synth characters. Also having a presence is IA, notably in the “YukaIA Thanksgiving (ゆかいあ感謝祭)” circles. One such artist is キマシタワーP / KimashiTowerP who will bringing back their sync-loid:07 album of Yukari and IA songs, as well as a new novel entitled “ゆかいあ世界 令和号 (YukaIA World, Reiwa Edition)” which is all about – you guessed it – Yukari and IA’s world!

コペチアン / Copetian

Don’t be surprised to see some Otomachi Una at Koetsuki, either! Among their large catalog of goods, さんだー / Sander will be bringing a new phone case with a cute Una and Kiritan illustration!

“Seyana! AKANE-chan in action!” Animated LINE Stickers Now Available

The animated Seyana! Akane-chan LINE stickers that we previously reported on are now available on the LINE Store!

They are based on the depiction of Akane from 何でも言うことを聞いてくれるアカネチャン / Nan Demo Iu Koto wo Kiite Kureru Akane-chan (Akane chan Will Listen to Whatever You Have to Say) by GYARI. Now you can relieve the popular VOICEROID song in your LINE conversations!
