Hatsune Miku x K.R.T. Girls Collaboration Manga Series

The collaboration between Hatsune Miku and the K.R.T. Girls continues this month with a series of 4-panel comics! You can find and read them on the K.R.T. Girls’ official Facebook page, Simon Creative’s official Weibo page (both in traditional Chinese), or Simon Creative’s Twitter page (in Japanese). We will also be collecting and translating* them here as they are released!

The comics are being illustrated by 凡爾賽菇雞三世 / ChickeIii and 4why.

Nana: This May, Hatsune Miku came to Taipei to perform the Miku Expo concert. This was also the concert celebrating the 5th anniversary of Miku Expo. Moreover, this was the first time in three years that Taiwan has welcomed Hatsune Miku back to perform. During their collaboration period with us, they’ll be wearing our uniforms…

Xiaoqiong: And they’ll be working as the K.R.T. Girls for us? Does that mean we can take a paid leave?

Hatsune Miku x Youme Cafe Details Announced

Initial details and the main visual for the Hatsune Miku x Youme collaboration cafe have been announced on the cafe’s official Facebook page!

Dates: July 18th through September 12th
Business hours: 12:00 to 10:00 PM (CST)

Online reservations and walk-ins are both possible. It has also been announced that the collaboration cafe may be brought to Japan at a later date. Stay tuned for more details!

Hatsune Miku x BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Global Collaboration Confirmed

A post on the official Facebook page for BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! has revealed that the Hatsune Miku collaboration will be coming to the global version of the game on June 10!

The songs will most likely be the same ones from the Japanese version of the game from last August, which we previously covered as so:

Luo Tianyi x Whisper Collaboration Sanitary Pads Announced

In one of the more unusual product announcements, Luo Tianyi has revealed a new collaboration with Whisper Health and Beauty to bring us Tianyi-brand sanitary pads. These pads will come in a special gift box containing 8 packs of 10 pads (240 mm), each pack featuring one of three possible Tianyi illustrations by Haku白. Another promotional illustration was also provided by TID.

Only 2,500 of these limited-time gift boxes will be available for ￥199 RMB, so those hoping to score one should check out the official product page on JingDong here to pre-order.

Furthermore, Tianyi’s Weibo is having it’s own special giveaway. Among those who share this post, 10 random winners will be selected to receive a chibi Tianyi figurine!

Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix to Collaborate With Snow Miku at 28th YOSAKOI SORAN

At the 28th YOSAKOI SORAN Matsuri that will take place from June 5 through June 9 at the Odori Park in Sapporo, it was known that Snow Miku will be performing and dancing at the event’s final stage. However, what came as a surprise today is the announcement that none other than Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be joining her!

The two pokemon will be appearing as representatives of the We Love Hokkaido Discovery Brigade. See the videos featuring them from the Hokkaido YouTube channel to get an idea of how they have been promoting the region.

And it was reported on the Hatsune Miku official blog that Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be performing to Gohatto Disco alongside Snow Miku at YOSAKOI SORAN on the same team! And in related news, it was also confirmed that Rabbit Yukine will be participating in the event’s parade as well, so Snow Miku and her friends will be well represented this year!

How will it all turn out? We’ll have to wait until June to see the spectacle!

On the official Weibo page for the mobile game 電擊文庫: 零境交錯 / Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void, a post was made showing an upcoming collaboration with Hatsune Miku!

Perhaps the even more exciting news is that Mo Qingxian is now available as a playable unit as well, making her the third Vsinger to get featured in the game! Her official artwork was also designed by TID, and you can watch an overview video for her abilities in the game.

Tohoku Zunko Partners with Otaku Coin!

VOCALOID Tohoku Zunko is best known for supporting the Tohoku region with her two sisters Itako and Kiritan. The sisters are constantly involved in promotions and even their own anime. But now Zunko, and likely her sisters, will be supporting an app that supports anime creators and studios!

About the Partnership

At this time, not much information is known about the partnership between Otaku Coin and Zunko. Otaku Coin’s announcement article mainly explains who Zunko is and what her main purpose is. They announce that SSS Co., Ltd., the company that produces Tohoku Zunko, will be joining Otaku Coin as a planning partner.

Their 35 second video also says that “various campaigns are under investigation” which means that there are likely several different campaigns that Otaku Goin and SSS Co., Ltd. are considering!

Considering both parties involved are great at planning promotional and supportive campaigns, we’re sure that there will be great things to look forward to in the future!

Luo Tianyi Lemon Debit IC Card Now Being Reissued

The Vsinger and Bank of China collaboration debit IC cards – bearing Tianyi’s “lemon” outfit by TID – are now making a comeback! 5000 of these cards are currently up for grabs again for those who apply for them online here.

This time around, they will come with a different set of goodies: a Tianyi can badge, refrigerator magnet, and keychain, all showing the familiar (and adorable) Tianyi illustrations by Haku白!
