The song that they perform is called “Nechusho No!No!” feat. Hatsune Miku and MEIKO, produced by Mitchie M! In the music video, they teach viewers about heat strokes and how to avoid them during the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics as part of the beyond 2020 program. They even do so in the fashion of News 39, something we haven’t seen in more than four years!
Miku and MEIKO are also joined by VTubers YuNi,Fuji Aoi, and Mirai Akari for the news interview portions. What may surprise some viewers is that Ichika Hoshino from the band Leo/need in Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku appears in the video, too! Below, you can see a tweet from the official Project SEKAI twitter account pointing out that very fact!

Once again, we’re a bit late covering this event as there’s only about 2 days left. But if fans want to grind hard enough (or if you happen to just have enough stamina lying around), there’s still time to complete the second leg of the Hatsune Miku x Love Nikki collaboration!
About the Collab
This second half of the collaboration is a lot easier for both new and old members alike and a lot less brutal on the wallet. Instead of spending gems like in the first half of the collab, you simply complete levels to obtain “Future Cubes.” These special items let you “rank up” in the collaboration and collect more prizes.
Each level completed nets you between 1 and 3 Future Cubes while in Maiden difficulty and, from my experience, it seems like between 2 and 4 Future Cubes in Princess difficulty.
You need to collect 1,000 Future Cubes to obtain all the items for the regular Hatsune Miku suit, and 2,700 Future Cubes to reach the final reward and obtain all the pieces of the Magical Mirai 2015 Suit.
If you do need a small boost in Stamina, there are packs available to help you out.
Hatsune Miku Suit
The Hatsune Miku suit consists of 5 items, and completing the suit gives you 20 Diamonds. Overall, there’s not anything incredibly special to it, but it’s still a must-have for any Miku lover.
Magical Mirai 2015 Suit
The Magical Mirai 2015 suit consists of 9 items including a foreground item that can be mixed and matched with the Magical Mirai suits from the first half of the collaboration. Completing it gives you 20 Diamonds.
Once again, this suit isn’t quite as impressive looking compared to the other Magical Mirai suits, BUT it’s a great way to get good items for free! Many of these items are high ranking in various parts of the game and are definitely worth grabbing for that if nothing else.
Favorite Singer Event
Be sure to comment about your favorite singer (virtual or real) on the Love Nikki Facebook page for your chance to win some in game prizes as well!
Now some more information and images have surfaced for the upcoming auto chess RPG and Miku’s role in it!
Collaboration Character Details
The first in-game image reveals Miku’s character portrait for the game, which is based on her V4X design. In the game, Miku will play a princess who makes it her mission to share the power of love with everyone in the game world by singing for them. And she’ll apparently also accomplish this by marching into battle with players!
The collaboration event also promises many new exclusive missions for players to partake in for generous rewards like new gear for their heroes, and the chance to deepen their bonds with the princess characters.
Stay tuned for launch date and more information as it is announced. You can download 300 Auto Chess for Android and soon for iOS devices from TapTap here!
**UPDATE ON JANUARY 8, 2020**
It has now been announced that from January 10 through February 6, pre-event Hatsune Miku Gift Packs will be made available for players to purchase before the collaboration officially begins!
The screenshots below reveal a standard version of the pack for ¥128 RMB, plus a collector’s version for ¥328 RMB that will net players even more items and benefit!
Furthermore, it’s been teased that it won’t just be Miku who will be debuting in the 300 Auto Chess world, but all of her friends as well! We’re assuming this means the rest of the piapro characters (MEIKO, KAITO, Rin, Len, and Luka) will also be a part of the collaboration in some way.
To get players ready, the game makers are currently preparing what they are calling the “Hatsune Miku Family Portrait” pre-event campaign through which players can obtain Miku and all of her friends! Stay tuned for more info on that!
The information for today’s update comes from this article.
Usually when I write articles on collaborations, it’s all about how to best spend your time in the collab and how to maximize your benefits. However, the Love Nikki x Hatsune Miku collaboration is incredibly different from the collabs that many Miku fans have come to love. So this time, I’ll be doing a bit of a break down and a bit of a review.
The Basics
The collaboration itself is based on the plot of trying to find Miku Magical Mirai 2018. In this collaboration, each Miku is a different Miku and there are three of them to find: Magical Mirai 2016, Magical Mirai 2017, and Magical Mirai 2018 with 2018 being the “finale” so to speak. However, if you’re lucky, you may manage to find her before the other Mikus!
You can also obtain Rin and Len suits (full themed outfits are called “suits” in the game) although they seem more like small bonuses than anything else compared to the complexity of the Miku suits you obtain in game.
Obtaining the Suits
Unlike in many of the Miku collabs we’ve grown to love and hate at the same time because of the endless grinding and all of the level caps that give older players more of a chance at getting the exclusive items/units, the Love Nikki collaboration takes a different approach. Some would argue it’s a much fairer approach. Free to Play players would definitely agree that the time sink of grinding would be far more fair.
This is because the entire event is based around in-game currency called “Diamonds” which are essentially the Love Nikki version of “Pay to Win” currency. While you can obtain Diamonds through quests, completing suits, and other ways as you go throughout the game, the quickest way by far is to just exchange your real life money for the Diamonds.
The main area for the collaboration
The entire event is just exploring the Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai pavilion using your Diamonds. You get one free chance per day which won’t get you anywhere since the event is going on for less than a week (December 25th until December 31st at 23:59 [UTC-8]). Each exploration nets you a single Magic Cube. Collecting certain amounts of cubes will allow you to hit milestones and get special suits.
The milestones and their most common rewards are as follows:
20 Magical Cubes: Kagamine Rin or Len 50 Magical Cubes: Kagamine Rin or Len 120 Magical Cubes: Magical Mirai 2016 Miku 170 Magical Cubes: Magical Mirai 2017 Miku 265 Magical Cubes: Magical Mirai 2018 Miku + Magical Mirai Stage
There have been people pulling the rewards out of this order but most players will pull in the order listed.
Each exploration after the initial free one will cost you 30 Diamonds and you can choose to do bulk explorations of 10 for 300 Diamonds. If you’re interested in a full cost breakdown, you can check out the Reddit post here for more information. Thankfully, I had a lot of Diamonds left over from when I was addicted to Love Nikki several years ago so I was able to collect the Magical Cubes with no problem.
Other available suits
Each suit contains 6 or more pieces and completing the suits nets you gems, coins, and even special pose packs. The item descriptions are actually really cute especially for Magical Mirai 2017 which refer to lyrics of Sand Planet / Dune.
Adding all of the items obtained would make this article painfully long for mobile users. However, you can follow our Facebook where we’ll post breakdowns of each suit and then update this article with links to those breakdowns.

**UPDATE ON JANUARY 10, 2020**
New visuals for the collaboration have been revealed!
To explain the collaboration, Eiji Tsuneda of eyemirror came on the livestream show to mention how eyemirror – which often does collaboration with anime characters – has been interested in doing a collab with Yukari for quite a while, and have talked privately with AHS president and CEO, Tomohide Ogata, and with Yukari’s voice provider, Chihiro Ishiguro. And now, they finally decided to make it happen!
Images of the glasses were then shown, revealing that will come in three colors: purple (Jun), sakura pink (Onn), and navy blue (Lin), each representing a different V4 voice bank for Yukari. They are all under-rim glasses that have been proven to be quite popular among eyemirror customers. Their sides are adorned with Yukari’s rabbit mark and a moon icon while their front rims have an equalizer design around the frames. As for the tips of each each pair of glasses, they were designed to look like Yukari’s shoes for each of their respective versions of her.
After explaining their designs, Ishiguro, Madoka Yonezawa, and Tsuneda himself even tried on each of the glasses to show off how they look!
The glasses will make their debut during the Kono Koe Todoke, Tsuki Made Mo (a.k.a. Koetsuki) doujin event to take place on February 11. eyemirror is in talks with other major glasses retailers like Washin Opticals to get them available elsewhere afterwards. At Koetsuki, they will be sold with frames only, but lens of any kind (such as for sunglasses or PC glasses) can be added in.
During the livestream, a life-size panel of the main visual of Yukari for the collaboration was revealed, as was a work-in-progress illustration by Juu Ayakura. Tsuneda explained that illustrations will be used for goods such as clear file folders. Another piece of merch in the works revealed was the glasses cases bearing all three of the Yukari rabbit marks!
Tsuneda announced that a single pair of glasses with goods bearing the design by Juu Ayakura will cost ¥15,400 JPY. He also gave some estimated prices for additional parts and services that buyers maybe be interested in:
Shipping costs for online orders: ¥550 JPY Lens: ¥6,000 JPY
An official site has also been set up for the collaboration goods, so be sure to check it for updates! https://eyemirror.jp/yukari/
