Virtual Attendant IA Returns This Summer

1st Place has announced that IA will be stepping back into her virtual attendant role to interact with her fans again soon!

Some fans may remember how IA served as a virtual attendant at Ueno Station earlier this year, helping commuters find where they need to go.

This summer, fans will get the chance to see and interact with her again at two separate events!

Tokyo Robot Collection

Date: July 22 and 23
Time: from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (JST) on each day

Location: JR Shinagawa Station Central Ticket Gate

The Tokyo Robot Collection is an event run by NTT Data that brings together robots and A.I. of high technology used in the service industry with the goal of making Tokyo 2020 the most hi-tech Olympics ever. Since IA is being included as one of their showcases, who knows? We may see IA being the one to guide us around Olmpic Village next year!

Guidance AI Project

Date: August 5 through November 10

Location: Ueno Station

Then in August, IA will be returning to Ueno Station to take part in the 案内ＡＩみんなで育てようプロジェクト(フェーズ2) (“Let’s Foster Guidance AI Project, Phase 2“). This time, not only will she come with even more knowledge of the area, but she will even be able to communicate in Chinese and Korean on top of Japanese and English! Could this lead to more language voice banks in the future?

300 Glamorous Heroes 2.0 Enters Open Beta, Celebrates YANHE’s 6th Anniversary

Today, July 11, the hit Chinese MOBA game, 300 Glamorous Heroes, entered its open beta testing phase for ver. 2.0. What should excite fans of VOCALOID is the amount of representation that the four Vsinger characters in the game will be getting in the update.

The trailer reveals a new Tianyi unit, and suggests that she will play a prominent role in the game’s new story. It then goes on to reveal gameplay for YANHE’s new unit as well, plus other exciting game features and events.

And it’s no coincidence that July 11, 2019 also happens to be YANHE’s 6th anniversary! To celebrate, she has been added to the game, joining Luo Tianyi, Yuezheng Ling, and Mo Qingxian. Like the others, she was given an introduction video explaining her abilities.

Hatsune Miku Returning to Jikkyou Powerful Soccer

Followers of our Facebook page may remember the Hatsune Miku collaboration with Jikkyou Powerful Soccer from last year.

Today, the game’s Twitter account has announced that the Miku collab content will be returning to the game! Like before, you can play in the new “Miku Miku Stadium” event and earn sound shards to unlock gifts from Miku You’ll even be treated to the original song “未完成ファンタジスタ / ” Mikansei Fantasista” as BGM!

Manager Miku and Striker Miku are making their return as well. By growing closer to Manager Miku in the game’s Success Mode, you’ll be treated to the song ” 青春アーカイブ / Seishun Archive” during the epilogue!

Sakura Miku x Hirosaki Neputa Festival Collaboration Announced

Fans may remember how Sakura Miku was selected to become the promotional character for the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival.

This summer, Sakura Miku is returning to Hirosaki to promote the Hirosaki Neputa Festival! Just like last time, various artwork from famous artists will serve as the promotional and merchandise material for the event.

We also get to see the panel display with Sakura Miku and Hirosaki mascot character, Takamaru-kun! The panel is on display at the Hirosaki Machinaka Information Center, the Hirosaki City Museum, and the Hirosaki Apple Park where visitors will be free to come and take pictures with them.
