Hatsune Miku, Luo Tianyi to Perform at DIVE XR FESTIVAL

In September, the DIVE XR FESTIVAL Supported by Softbank virtual singer event will be held. And where there are virtual singers, there are VOCALOIDs.

Hatsune Miku’s performance at the show should come as no surprise, but what is rather surprising is that Luo Tianyi will be performing as well. In fact, this event will mark the Vsinger’s first ever performance in Japan! Both her Weibo and Twitter accounts confirmed it.

Tianyi’s Weibo announcement even confirmed that she will be debuting a brand new Japanese language song at the event. Needless to say, this occasion will mark numerous “firsts” for her!

However, what’s worth noting is that this will actually not be the first time that the most popular Japanese and Chinese VOCALOIDs will be sharing the same stage. Miku and Tianyi were both confirmed to be performers at the upcoming Bilibili Macro Link VR concert on July 19, along with the rest of their respective VOCALOID families. Nonetheless, to see the pair at two of the same official concerts in such a short span of time is something that would have been unthinkable in the past. It’s truly remarkable to see how much the VOCALOID and virtual singer worlds can change on any given year.

Recently, new details and promotional artwork for YANHE’s upcoming 6th anniversary on July 11, 2019 have emerged! We’re first treated to the official 6th anniversary artwork by Ratto and Catcan, in which YANHE looks like she’s about to go traveling.

The big event will take place on July 12 at exactly 7:12 PM (CST) at the Shanghai World Financial Center‘s 94th floor space (those with fear of heights, take note).

Luo Tianyi Knapsack and Birthday Party Ticket Campaign at LAWSON

Fans who follow our Facebook page may recall the Luo Tianyi x LAWSON collaboration from around this time last year when they were giving away Tianyi folding fans before Bilibili Macro Link 2018.

This year, Tianyi and LAWSON are joining forces again to prepare a Tianyi knapsack, and even tickets to her birthday party for fans to acquire!

From June 17 through July 14, anyone who visits any LAWSON convenience store in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces, as well as Shanghai can earn points by purchasing select food items (pastries, meat skewers, coffee, and milkshakes), 1 point for each item. Collecting and exchanging 12 points during that period will earn you the knapsack! (Limited to 8,000 sacks)

In fact, those who do so during the first three weeks of the campaign (between June 17 and July 7) will also have the chance to receive a ticket to Tianyi’s 2019 birthday party on July 12! Those who live outside of the designated regions can still earn a knapsack by sharing the Weibo announcement post. Five of those share the post before June 24 will be selected at random to win!
